Liverpool Slip Testing — operated by Surface Performance Ltd under UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, Lab Schedule No. 7933 — provides BS 7976-2 pendulum slip resistance testing to primary schools, secondary schools, academies, multi-academy trusts, sixth-form colleges and FE colleges across Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, St Helens, Knowsley, Halton and the wider Merseyside and Cheshire region.

The pendulum test, carried out in accordance with BS 7976-2:2002+A1:2013, is the preferred pedestrian slip test method recommended by the Health and Safety Executive and the UK Slip Resistance Group. It is the only slip test evidence accepted by UK courts in civil slip injury claims.
